In December of 2012, Capt Paul came to Liberia to find out about fishing in Liberia. As a seasoned New England captain, he was looking for a place with a longer operating season than Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He found that the fishing in Liberia was exciting.After investigation, he returned home and bought the boat the JESSE LEE, and made preparations to equip, and ship it to Liberia. This year, teaming up with Barefoot Investments he has been able to offer more boats and fishing adventures.

  Liberia, West Africa located on the equator has excellent fishing weather November to April. Warm weather and calm seas, perfect for fishing, dolphin watching, and site seeing.

Capt Paul has been a charter fishing captain for over 40 years. Boat fishing started in 1970 as a mate on the GOLDEN EAGLE on Cape Cod Massachusetts, USA.

 Perfecting his craft he bought the operation and opened a successful charter fishing operationon Nantucket Sound,  south of Cape Cod, on the GOLDEN EAGLE.

  Upon discovering the beauty and opportunities of Liberia he decided to contribute to the growing country of Liberia and its tourism. He brought the Jesse Lee here from Cape Cod. To Captain Paul fishing is fun, a fantastic entertaining day

The thrill of a large sailfish of marlin attacking a bait. The contest between you and the fish. Seeing a mahi mahi race along the surface to grab a bait. Hearing the drag click or a reel scream, as a fish has grabbed your bait, brings  excitement to the day .

  The ocean here offers the opportunity to catch, Marlin, Sail Fish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, and Bonito.

  Dreams of a trip like this in the States or Europe can come true here. 

  In the fishing areas off the Liberian coast dolphins dance, dive, swim and fly before you. The dolphins tell us that the is bait fish in the area. Fishing becomes serious for the captain. Where there is food fish for the dolphins, there should be game fish to catch. While the fishing gear works, enjoy the show. Chasing the boat, diving and jumping in the air, the dolpins will amaze you. We also do a 5 hour trip, DOLPHIN WATCHING. A hour will fill your camera of images that will stay with you forever. 

  There is also the possibility of seeing a Humpback Whale, Orca or Killer Whale and Sea Turtles

 You have hooked the fish, Had the rod strapped to you, and have faught the fish to the boat. The mate yells "color" as he sees the fish deep. Then "Swivel" as the start of the leader is at the top of the water. Captain and crew position themselves to gaff the fish and bring it on board. Have someone ready with a camera, because a fish coming "over the rail" is the fisherman's MONEY SHOT.
